So, the smarmy bugger isn't keyboard based. It's swype causing the issues. Cleared data from keyboard per everyone's suggestions, but then poked around: Settings -Language/Input --Swype ---My Words: uncheck "import recent contacts" That seems to have fixed it! Will update if anything changes.
