To answer your question, yes it works and is a very easy setup and no, it does not push to your phone like a BB, it pulls. Meaning it is not "instant" like your BB since the phone has to poll for the AOL mail at a interval set by you (usually around every 15 min)

Yes using Gmail is the best way. If you want to use Bluetooth you need to download an app from the market since this capability is not included. I use a program call Bluetooth File Transfer. Works very well. Not only sends your contacts but any other file as well including pics, etc.

Keepscreen is free and works great. You just set it once to keep whatever app you want the screen to stay on for and thats it.

Try a *228 and update the phone.

You will know if it worked if you were having call quality problems and after you change the Codec the same people will either tell you you sound better or they won't complain anymore :) Note that it can always be changed back using the same method, so it's worth a try.
