I don't know what others are referring to - I can close all my recent apps with one button, thankfully.

OP - if I were you I'd just accept that fact that it's actually just a phone rather than a meaningful life choice and enjoy it for what it is. Oh, and as TUU said above, add it to a glass of water 'cos you can :-)

FWIW you don't need to convert to mp3 (which means compressing a second time, not good for quality) - my Z3 plays iTunes AAC just fine.
