    Well, I tried this with no luck, as the trick with formatting sd ([SM-N9005] SG Note 3 upgrade to KK Android 4.4.2 REBOOT, GPS, and EXTSD WRITE problem) I begin to think there is no workaround for that. Just have to wait for KK 4.4.3 and keep fingers crossed it will help. Sad!

    Seems it's KitKat fault, not exactly Samsung's. What scares me, is that although 4.4.3, which should fix the problem, is around the corner, we will have to wait for Samsung to put together its version. I waited once for Motorola to do this... for a year!

    And it restarts again. About once a day. For the moment I thought that turning auto brightness off is the key. Still, you can try doing this.

    Well, no mobo has been changed. They have just flashed pure rom and restored factory settings. I have now 4.4.2 and so far no restarts. I will post update in a day or two. If no restart will happen, I'll be able to say, it's cured.

    Mainboard is probably going to be replaced. They say, that update to KitKat could have screwed the ROM...

    I returned phone to service to be flashed with no branded software. Will see next week and let you know if it helps.

    Since updates are never there when promised, I'm scared I'll have to wait months for a fix... that is really no option :( Any Samsung official sources are mentioning this rebooting issue?

    Have this issue after updating to KitKat. No app can causing this, as I installed almost none of the set I was using when on Jelly. Phone restarts sometimes 3-4 times a day. Can anyone confirm any solution that helps? Maybe formatting SD card?
