Why do we need a screen protector?

I used the Verizon packaged plastic screen cover till my Gear VR arrived. Then it was off with the halo inducing screen cover. The Note7 back protection also has to come off to fit the Gear VR slot. There is no optically clear screen protection that I know of and one I can afford. So no screen...

Samsung Pay not what I imagined.

Will this work at a self serve gas pump where you have to insert the card into the card reader? Did some more research and found out it will not work at ATMs and gas pumps (anywhere you have to insert the card). ref...

    Anyone rocking it naked?

Partially naked. No screen protector as it creates halos with Gear VR. And I have an easily removable flexible clear case else the note 7 will not fit in the VR. So folks looking to indulge in the VR have reason to rethink the screen protector or get one that pops off easily.

My Samsung Gear VR for Note 7 Just Shipped!

Sure can relate to that. I found the screen improves if the screen protector is removed and the note 7 has to come out of its protective case. The VR keyboard is very finicky and logons are a real pain. Any solution to this?

Sync Note 7 Contact and Calendar with Tab Pro 12.2

It took me a little time but it was very easy. I sync my Note 7 and laptop (win10 pro) using smart switch. I had to remember to start smart switch on Note 7 from Settings-> Backup/Restore. Laptop has the app (for PC) downloaded from Samsung website. (They have an app for the Mac as well) I had...

Note 7 music player (samsung) missing music square tab.

On my Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 the stock music player has a unique feature "music square". This created ad-hoc playlists for me. I do not see this with the player in Note 7 and I miss it. Did Samsung drop this, is it an oversight or is something wrong with my installation?

Sync Note 7 Contact and Calendar with Tab Pro 12.2

Thanks. I was looking for a more private option that did not include third party services. But your suggestion is perfectly viable solution.

Sync Note 7 Contact and Calendar with Tab Pro 12.2

Hi: As I poke and prod my Note 7 and try to figure out its features, I realized I need to sync my Contact and Calendar info on Note 7 with my Galaxy Tab pro 12.2. I synced the Note 7 with my MS Outlook 2007 calendar and Contacts using Smart Switch on my laptop. Now I need to sync my tablet with...

    Internet time server

I have not been able to automatically update the Tab Pro clock directly from Network Time Server. The apps I tried all ask for root password. Is there a solution for this without rooting the tab? Please advise.

How to tag inbox email as spam?

Am using Samsung default email app cause it works in multi-window mode. How do I select an email in my inbox and tag it as spam. The only way I see is to enter sender address or domain in the setting screen. Having to type addresses is not very appealing. Anyone know any shortcuts? Thanks.

    Samsung default Internet browser

An update to my lost bookmarks problem. I had to send it in for Samsung service. Have received the tablet after repairs and the default browser seems to be working okay. Have used it for a week now. I called tech support to find what was wrong and the only answer I got was the system had been...

    Samsung default Internet browser

Thanks for your suggestion. I should have clarified - I am referring to a Tab Pro 12.2 default Internet Browser, and yes I have used the setting, app manager (all) and scrolled down to Internet and cleared cache. No luck. My bookmarks are displayed clearly but when I select any one of them the...
