Yep.. Just airplane mode. But no need to do anything as if no data plan or service, it will be disabled anyways. Now if you wanna go really crazy about it, play with CDMA workshop and delete the MIN. :D

WOW! that was the only way to root this optimus v version 2.2.2! Thanks!!! I simply downloaded the gingerbreak.apk file and went to market to install ES File Explorer. Then I browsed to the gingerbreak app on the SD card and installed it! ROOTED. This was a Virgin Mobile phone just purchased...
