Finally, I'm not alone! I've been experiencing the same issue on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and have spent quite a bit of time searching for a resolution online (Android Central, Twitter, and other forums), to no avail. It worked fine on my Tab for the 10 months I've had it but then started this maybe...

In my case Twitter tries to start and then either goes all white or goes back to my home screen. Tried searches throughout the internet and can't find anything which is rare :-/ I'm saavy with pc's and can uninstall updates, etc. but can't see that I can try that stuff on a Tab. >>Galaxy Tab 10.1

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, Android :) 4.4.2 -- I get a nice clean notification with the person's avatar which I assume is the direct push from the Twitter app. I also get one preceded by a number (4040) which is usually a compilation of multiple tweets in one chunk. I'm guessing that one is coming...
