I'm not having any issues with my Android auto but I've learned over the years any major problems do a factory reset and that seems to fix everything. And do not use Smart Switch or any of those to bring old apps to new phone. make sure you wipe cache partition

I recently had the same problem. In order to fix it I factory reset my phone sign in to Google and just updated Samsung phone apps only. No other apps or my apps. Then went to my Samsung account and updating my Samsung apps. Then I cleared cache partition. And then I restored Samsung settings...

I'm trying to connect my Samsung S9 to an HDMI cable. I bought an adapter that work perfectly for my Samsung S8 and still does. I tried on multiple TVs and it does not register. It does not work. Do I need to buy a separate cable for my Samsung S9. Please help
