    I think the G is for GPRS. Technically 2.5G depending where you are in the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Packet_Radio_Service EDGE (or EGPRS) is an extra "bolt on" to most 2.5g networks. Making edge technically 2.75G Posted via Android Central App
