After downloading Java onto my Mac (twice), I was able to pull of the Unix commands needed to reboot, unlock, and upgrade my Nexus 7 without a hitch. I just don't have any interest in Kit Kat. What interests me about Android is the new 5.0 interface, Material Design, etc.
