Yes, I have exactly the same characteristics -- on my rooted, stock, Nexus 5. Sometimes the GPS indicator comes on; sometimes it doesn't. After I lose GPS, I can't seem to get it back. Grrrrrrrr.

Won't connect to ATTWifi SOLVED: Go to the bottom of your list of available wifi networks and touch "Add WiFi Network" Add SSID "attwifi" (no quotes) Touch Save Return and you'll have 2 attwifi listings, but it will connect perfectly.

AT&T recently pushed out Gingerbread 2.3.6 for the GS II. I upgraded, and, all of a sudden, although I could see "attwifi" hotspots in the Wifi active list, my GS II wouldn't auto connect (even though I had checked the autoconnect box) and, worse yet, I couldn't even connect to it manually...
