This patch did clear (or reset) a lot of things on the phone. My theme rolled back, location services shut off, Always on display came back on, etc.

It will usually only change the stock messaging app. I use Chomp and it will not change that. I usually take a screenshot of the new theme's home screen, resize it, and use it as my background photo on Chomp. That way, my Chomp app matches my new theme. Its a little time consuming but works...

I too tried the Gmail app for other email accounts and found that it would not send/forward messages on occasions. I ended up using myMail, which has a very similar look and feel to that of the new Gmail. I have not had any issues with myMail; I currently run 5 email accounts with it.

The S5 is warranted for 1 year through the manufacturer. My wife just had hers (7 months old) replaced through Verizon. All we paid for was the overnight shipping. I am having the same problem with only the left channel active through the earphones, so I might be returning mine soon. :)

Just my two cents.....I've tried several different multiple email clients and am currently using "myMail". Its very user friendly.
