I had the same USB issue after updating to Android v.5.0.2. I resolved the problem by: 1. Start tablet. 2. Swipe down on the opening page. 3. Tap the "Connected as a ........" window. 3. Select Camera (PTP) check box then select Media device (MTP) check box. That's it!
