Does MB1 have any other improvements? I haven't had MA6 long enough to know whats different between the two and so far there is nothing on the Sprint Blog re: the update.

    Tethering

Hot topic isn't it? or perhaps hotspot topic. The bottom line is we signed a contract with Sprint - a contract which gives them a right to terminate us almost at their whim - and they have been pretty clear about tethering. Although I don't like them being able change the terms of their...

What's the real scoop on GS III reception?

Same here, in real world usage this phone's reception is as good as any phone I've had even though the "bars" may differ.

    foxfi for the GS3

Sadly, I have to agree but I finally did get it to work with the Foxfi/Pdanet combo. A lot of hoops to go through on the install though and its about 40% slower - but at least it works.

    foxfi for the GS3

I personally don't have it . I read in a review that it worked for someone. That is why I brought it up, to see if the review was correct or corroborated.

    foxfi for the GS3

I have heard that Foxfi v 1.40 works with the GS3. is that the version you're using? because even on the developers website it states the new version (1.93) doesn't work with the GS3.

FYI: there are free tethering options w/o rooting your phone!

While "tethering" includes wifi the term is usually used in reference to a wired connection ( usb cable for e.g. ) Wifi hotspot "tethering" usually can connect several devices at once while cable tethering connects just one.

camera blury right when taking picture

I have noticed it and its annoying. It does it even when the camera is still however if I use the flash it seems to help. It was not this way on the GS2 - kind of frustrating.

Anyone else using FoxFi, hotspot no root (has support for us now)

Re: Anyone else using FoxFi, hotspot no root (has support for us I am wondering the same thing. Also anyone that gets the s-3 let us know if Foxfi works on it.

Any cases available for extended battery users??

There is the Trexcell tpu case that is designed to work with their own extended battery. I'm not sure if it will work with your setup though. At the very least you would have to cut an opening for the kickstand. You can find it at amazon.com and other sites. So far I'm happy with the trexcell...

Anyone else using FoxFi, hotspot no root (has support for us now)

Re: Anyone else using FoxFi, hotspot no root (has support for us I've been running FoxFi for a while but today the sprint hotspot activation icon came on as well as the foxfi one in the status bar ((o)). has anyone else seen this and are they (sprint) now charging for it?

galaxy s2 e4gt extended life battery

I haven't used the ferocity battery but I did recently get the Trexcell extended 3800 for the epic touch and I'm getting from two to three days of usage. To qualify that I was getting just over a full day with the stock battery. I'm having a hard time finding an external charger that will work...

    Otterbox Case?

I just checked Otterbox's website and they are finally selling the defender and commuter cases. Now if they would just make an extended battery version I might consider getting one.

    GPS

If you download "GPS Test" from market and go to settings then tap "clear AGPS" it will usually help the GPS to get a lock. Its not a 100% but works most of the time. Hopefully this problem with GPS inconsistency will be addressed by Samsung soon.
