When on the main screen with the carousel it's on the bottom. You have to touch the star on the lower right hand corner and it pops up from the bottom.

Thanks for responding. I chatted with Amazon support and they had me do a factory reset which seemed to work until i turned it on this morning and there were half my books again, on the carousel. /sigh Thanks for the advice though. I appreciate it.

I don't think Verizon will initially get the first roll out of the next Nexus. Verizon tries to control too much of the environment IMO. Plus, it being a CDMA network, it seems like things are always a bit more difficult go execute.
