Purcased an Unlocked Galaxy S9 (my original Carrier SIM still asking to Unlock SIM)

I have a US Unlocked S9+ and I'm in Germany using Vodafone, however every time I restart my phone it always asks for the unlock code for the sim and it has for the last two unlocked devices I've had (HTC 10 and S8). That is simply a security protocol for European carriers due to roaming across...

Unlocked S9+ and Enhanced LTE services on AT&T

Typically when you put whatever carrier sim in and make connection with the network it will automatically download the network software (bloatware). I have the same device I purchased from Samsung directly and I had that capability when I was using the AT&T network for a month or so, I'm...

    Only one update?

I have the US Unlocked S9+, now I totally understand that yes the unlocked version are especially slow with updates than the norm. However, I do see that the unlocked international version receives updates fairly decently. I have not received an update since March 14th, mind you I'm in...

    Kodi buggy after nougat?

It's Kodi. Kodi is a beta application, there isn't anything official about any version that is released. It has nothing to do whatever version of Android unless were talking about 4.0 or older.

    android 7.0 or 7.1 HTC 10

7.1 isn't coming anytime soon, although some of the features may. It's just Google further creating fragmentation by using it as a marketing tool for android users to purchase a Pixel device. Probably will see it on other Android devices by next spring with the launch of OEM's flagship devices.

    Which email app?

My I also add that Inbox is a great application as well. It's by Google and shuns the Gmail app, only downside is that you can add any other email accounts other than Gmail, which poses why they even have the Gmail application still.

    Which email app?

Not true, it works well on other devices and doesn't drain the battery. You can optimize your notifications as you want.

    Google Play Store icon change

I noticed with the Google Play Store apk version 6.4.12.C that a change in the icon had happened, especially with Google announcing the new Google Play app icon change coming. Just a week later with another update to 6.4.13.C, I noticed it reverted back to the old icon. Maybe they pushed the...
