I second that. The UI seems a bit more fluid, no more random stutters on 5.0.1.

Kit Kat had become much more fluid since switching over to ART. Lollipop retains that fluidity, but can't say which is more fluid.

Have you considered the Xperia Z3 compact? It's quite a powerhouse in a diminutive shell.

I have tried Nova, Apex, Aviate et al. Nova is the one I always end up sticking to. However, on my Nexus 5, I have been having screen and widget reload issues with Nova, which has forced me back to the stock GN launcher for the time being.
