Got update this morning first thing. Unit seemed faster so ran Quadrant and score improved over 300 points to 2964. Then ran AnTuTu with a improvement of 1000 to 6095 in a 3G area. Battery was fully charged just after the upgrade finished so will have to wait on battery length report until later...

i agree with you totally. I currently have a Droid X and intend to get this phone. What was missing in original Razr for me was sufficient bqtty length to last me the entire day.

my comment would be this. first fully desire what you expect your new phone to be feature wise. Then wait for those features to be 100% met and buy that phone. Thats the reason I am going to buy the Razr Maxx.

I got mine for $355 which included the keyboard dock. Great little unit.

Official release of the Droid Bionic by Verizon has taken place this morning. Can you believe it!

I believe the dock your talking about uses any wifi your phone connects to or it's normal 3G or 4g network connection. Basically it provides a keyboard, larger screen as well as an additional battery. It does this by having the phone inserted into the dock not connecting to the phone wirelessly.

100% brightness, 4g all of the time! 6 hours is out of this world. 20-30% brightness should mean great battery length.

I am currently using a Droid X and the back battery cover is very easy to remove and replace. How is the battery cover on the Bionic to remove and replace?

Not to belabor the point but I assume that the 'sim card' comes in the box or is already installed, correct? The online PDF manual only shows where it's placed in the back of the phone but nothing else is mentioned. In addition how easy is the battery cover to remove?

Was curious. Does the phone work at all without the 'sim card' making it a 3G phone or does the phone switch between 3G and 4g on the fly?

Did p3droid say he had a root path set up yet for the Droid X2?
