I will stay with my M9. Maybe in a year from now I will look to buy an as new unwanted upgrade HTC 10 at a good price. My only reservation is they went once more with the stupid side-mounted power key.

Just in case you happen to have glove mode selected, turn this off, because with the absurd side-mounted power switch this phone easily gets accidentally turned on in a pocket and glove mode then means lots of unwanted (and unseen) phone activity ensues... Not good - I found out the hard way.

Certainly the biggest disappointment for me has been the new power button on the centre of the case. It makes it tricky to pick up the phone without catching it accidentally since it's exactly where the fingers want to grip, and it's likely to get caught in a pocket. It is also in the worst...

I agree. Also, my M8 had a nicer blueish green tint. My M9 has a more orange tint to the screen which cannot be altered in the colour temp settings.

Just had my phone slide out my top pocket onto concrete, breaking the screen on the right edge. I'm cursing cos only last week I'd bought an official HTC flip cover to replace the silicone cover which came with it and worked great. It's my belief that silicone cover would have prevented this...

I also work in a dusty environment and have found nothing better than simply wrapping the phone in a cheap polythene freezer bag. It works 100% and can be thrown away when dirty.
