You can get the update, but clean the cache before rebooting see if the error goes away.- Robbie Doo

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 (SM-T310) is failing to boot up
Maybe you can download the latest stock ROM and push it on with Odin? I've had a similar issue and it helped me, so I assume it will help you too. Let me know.- Robbie Doo

Was this rooted or not? I think first you need to reload the latest stock ROM using Odin, then take it from there.- Robbie Doo
