Thanks, everyone! I just downloaded the KitKat email app, and I'm happy again. Now if it would only show the TYPES of phone numbers (mobile, home, work, etc.) to select when creating a Text Message Shortcut, like it does when creating a Direct Dial Shortcut! :)

I'm on Verizon, too. It wasn't showing up in my apps either, because it was disabled. If you go to the App Manager under settings and look under 'All', I'd think it would show up there. Enable it, if it does. I seriously hate Kit Kat, now. You've gotta jump through a lot of hoops to try and copy...

re: Screen scratches really easily on the M8 7 scratches in less than a week?! This is REAL hard to believe. I've never used a screen protector, and haven't scratched the screen on ANY of my phones in the past 5 years. I'd say I take my phone out of my pocket an average of 20 times a day, too...

Re: HTC One : Boomsound ? love it or leave it? I must admit. The speakers on this thing are pretty damn incredible for a CELL phone! Great for using the speakerphone while on a call, but it's about the equivalent of a real nice alarm clock radio in my opinion. Love, but I say leave it. :)

Under the Power settings, there's an option called Fast Boot. Is there any reason to NOT having this option checked? I'm not turning my phone off very often, but why would I NOT want it to start back up as quickly as possible when I do? I just thought this was kind of a strange option.
