Anyone else having bluetooth-headset sound quality issues with the ONE?

Haven't heard back and I don't expect to. You may want to try the 5G radio in settings for WiFi. It may help a bit but is not the solution to the problem long term.

Anyone else having bluetooth-headset sound quality issues with the ONE?

Have Sprint HTC One. Bad sound via BT on phone calls. Scratchy, creeky, squeeky, tunnely, garbled. Tried with 2 different Blueant Q3s, plantronica M1100, Jabra Freeway car speakerphone device. All sound crappy in either direction. Streaming audio via BT is OK. The One is updated to most recent...

Ms Outlook alternative for nexus 7

I have been using Aqua mail. 2 accounts. One a Yahoo, one Godaddy. Receives and sends fine. Highly customizable, new app with growth potential. Dev is very responsive, fixes issues weary quickly. The native email app (not gmail) is lacking in functionality, such as select all, delete all... If...

    Better battery available?

Go to Settings>About Phone>Battery>Battery Use ... It will show what system components and applications use how much of the battery. I hope this helps.

    Lockscreen message

I use AVG (the free edition) which is a virus scanner available in the Market. Burried deep in the menu options under Remote, there is an option to put your own text in that displays on the Lock Screen. Good Luck, Rob

    [?] Name on lock screen?

You can get AVG Free from the Market. It is a virus scanner. It also has the ability for you to find your phone if you misplace it. As part of its setup and registration, it gives you the ability to put your name and info on how to contact you on the Lock Screen. I hope this helps. Rob

    Apps dissappear?!?!?

If your apps that disappear are on the SD card, Settings > SD Card & Phone Storage Settings > Unmount SD card and then Mount SD card should bring them back. This happens with my phone occasionally, and the above procedure fixes it. Good Luck, Rob

Methods known to fix SD card issue/problem - mounting, unmounting

The problem I am experiencing is a little different. When I got the phone in January, I replaced the OEM card with a SanDisk 8 GB Class 4 card. It worked perfectly until the VC update. After the update, now occasionally the apps that are moved to the SD card show up as the generic Android icon...

    new here got some questions.

Welcome aboard. I am fairly new here too, but I can help you with some of your questions. For Music, you should create a folder on the SD card (there may be one in there already) and add your music files in subfolders. For example, you can have a folder for Garth Brooks, another one for Rolling...

    Forwarding Text Messages

Jessica, do you have AVG virus scanner installed? If so, you can set it up from the AVG menu/remote option. Here is a link in the other forum with details. http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s/51401-question-about-unlock-screen.html I hope this helps. Rob

    List By Company

Jeff, I agree with you that some of the built-in Android apps are pretty week. But they are what they are. I still get crabby about copy/paste ... As I indicated in my prior post, the Android native contacts app does let you search by the company name easily. It's not as good as an option to...

    List By Company

I don't know about "Google Contacts". Do you mean the stock Contacts App in Android? If so, when I do a search using the company name, it finds the contacts in that company. In your example, if I typed amalg, it would find Brenda Silver and any others who are associated with the company. Does...

    LG Optimus S (LS670) Maintenance Release 2/7/11

Just got a System Update Just about 10 minutes ago, Sprint downloaded a "system update" to my phone. There was no explanation about the update other than "corrects some issues..." or something like that. Gave me the option to cancel or install later. It took a few minutes to go through the...

    How to shutdown/quit applications

The built-in email app is pretty weak. If you only have a Yahoo mail account, "there is an app for that" (LoL) in the Market. The way it works is you type in your email address and password once, it connects to the server and syncs up all the folders. It does not download any emails until you...

    How to shutdown/quit applications

From everything I've read, there are two schools of thought on this. 1) Get yourself a good Task Killer app. 2) Don't worry and let the OS take care of managing the resources. When I initially got my phone, I immediately got a Task Killer and used it religiously ... After I read more about...
