    Wifi speeds capped?

It's a Cisco (Linksys) EA6500 802.11 ac 2.4GHz and 5GHz. I assume this is a descent router. I'll try updating the firmware on the router, but I really don't see what that has to do with the link speed showing on my phone. The wireless adapter I have on the computer stays connected at 300 Mbps. I...

    Wifi speeds capped?

The link speed I am referring to is in the setting of the phone, not the router. Go to settings-wifi-then tap on the connection of the wifi you're connected too. It'll have status-signal strength-link speed-security-ip address. My link speed fluctuates from 6mb-433mb no matter how close or far I...

    Wifi speeds capped?

The internet package I have allows 105mb into the house and I have reach as high as 124mb on my phone,LG G2. The problem I am having is the link speed. It jumps from 6mb to 433mb and anywhere in between constantly and the link speed directly affects my download speed and it doesn't matter if I...

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - Candy coated goodness.

From what the sprint guy said, global is used when you go overseas and the radio is constantly searching. When I upgraded to kitkat,my phone no longer received calls but everything else worked as it did before. Since I have no 4g/lte in my area, only cdma was checked, the phone has worked as it did...

If anyone is still reading this forum that's having problems with calls,I went to the sprint store and they fixed the problem.Click on settings, then more, then mobile networks, then network mode, then click CDMA or if you have 4G/LTE in your area, click LTE/CDMA. Just make sure Global is not clicked.

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - Candy coated goodness.

before I updated to kitkat, when at home and have wifi on,the phone worked with absolutely no problems.Since the update,I can make calls, receive and send msg's,but no incoming calls (will not ring or show any incoming calls) while wifi is on,but if I turn wifi off and use 3G the phone works...

The post above mine says it won't let him answer calls, mine doesn't even ring. I can make calls, send and receive msg's but it won't ring when someone calls.

Anyone else having this problem,I can make phone calls, but it won't receive calls. This all started after the update and sprint mistakenly stop my service, which is back on now.

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - ***Release starts March 31st*** When I did the update,it said to do a profile first. Might sound dumb, but did you do that before trying kitkat update?

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - ***Release starts March 31st*** I could be wrong, but I've read if you rooted your phone, you need to unroot,do the update and then root again.

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - ***Release starts March 31st*** I've noticed that since I updated with the ota,it uses more memory. Thought the mem was supposed to optimized.
