Yea good point, worth trying

Well of course the pictures are better on the S7 and S8 but for a lot of people it won't make that much of a difference when you just look at it. If you don't think it looks much better then its obviously not really worth it for you

i dont know about the galaxy a5 but I had the lg and it was far from impressive, didnt really feel like a "flagship" though at the lower price maybe its a decent choice

yea the difference in cameras isnt the biggest as people have said but if you are going to be using them a bunch for pictures then maybe its the right choice for you

there is no doubt the pixel camera is very adept

I personally prefer the pixel from the point of view from software alone, I love stock android and even though samsungs interface has become less intrusive over the past few years I still much prefer stock android

maybe an older oneplus would be a decent idea, though out of the ones you suggested I would personally opt for the Moto g5

in terms of specs I fully expect samsung to blow apple out of the water, though with the rumors it already seems like the iphone 8 is going to be a significant upgrade and I personally held of on the iphone 7 because of the only minor improvement
