It's not a stupid naming by Motorola, that's how a Linux kernel names devices. It starts with 0 and moves upward. The internal would be 0 since it's the internal one, and then anything after that is 1, 2, 3. Just like the internal ethernet port on a computer would be eth0, and anything...
