my thunderbolt with any radio on it would drop between 4G and 1X all the time, never wanted to use 3G, very rarely. my razr maxx has been excellent at using whatever is available. no complaints at all thus far.

you mean the WIFI adapter address? there's gotta be an app that'll tell you the mac address. Then you can do a reverse arp request on it and get the ip.

the idea with the micro USB is to make it universal, usb is 5v @ 500ma. Motorola just made their charger 850ma to charge the battery faster. If you plug in the USB cable to your PC, it charges it at a slower rate, since USB port is only rated at 500ma. The phone will only take what it needs...
