I did download the newest Device Manager and that did not help as it tells me there are no new drivers. If I do manage to get it to acknowledge the phone, if I have to unplug for any reason, it stops recognizing it again.

Every since I did the latest update (I believe its been dubbed KitKat??) Windows 7 will not recognize my phone. I get USB Device Not Recognized error. I tested the cable with another phone so it definitely isn't the connector that is the problem and the error didn't show up until AFTER I did...
