I saw someone else mention this and I guess I just don't see the point. If you're carrying a phone and a Dex with you anyway and you have to carry the laptop with you....What benefit is there for the phone to be what's powering the laptop?

I never drop my phone....until I do. I was sitting at Starbucks yesterday with my phone on the table beside me as I typed on my laptop. The phone was too close to the edge and my elbow knocked it off the table....And this was one of those high tables with the raised chairs....so it was a good...

I want to buy Dex for my S8 but gotta admit, that is probably mainly because I'm a tech-o-holic. What exactly do you think would be a use-case scenario for it? Surely there aren't really people selling their pc's because they'll just use their phone as their main computer?

In my area, my devices always seem to show Xfinity as a WiFi option, but then when I try to connect, it nver actually connects me.

I've been taking notes "for real" for a couple weeks on mine. I have to watch webinars all the time and turn in a report on them to keep an important certification, so I'm able to watch on the tablet and take notes as I'm watching. It's great.

Bixby Voice is not here yet. When it's here, you're supposed to be able to control most functions through voice.

Yeah actually there is a way to change the colors in the stock email and text apps....You just go into the theme store and select a theme you like, and it carries over to all of the stock apps.

Thought about trying out Dex?

There are services that some youtubers talk about where you can pay money, take a couple steps and get your phone unlocked. If I do that with my new S8 will I be able to move it to a different carrier?
