WOW .. I guess the power buttons are still acting up in 2015, here .. I thought it was busted!! Thanks guys .. I didn't believe it, but ya, it worked. Power button didn't even feel like it was broken. Huh .. I guess there's another switch down below beneath the one that clicks that gets stuck.

All you have to do now is uncheck the "show notifications" box for "PageBuddyNotiSvc" in the "all apps" section of Android 4.4.4 for TMobile. It'll just close automatically. This is for the TMobile Galaxy S4 as per what Rick Bray said a few posts under the original post. As of "so far" TMobile...

in android 4.1 (give or take) are the "ongoing" apps the same as background apps? or are they a separate type of thing? im wondering because if i use a program that automatically ends (cleans) my apps, will it kill the apps listed in the "ongoing" tab of the pull down menu of the smartphone? or...
