Does anyone else have an issue where the signal bars just don't report accurately? Example, my phone is showing 1 to 2 bars right now yet my DNA consistently shows 3 to 4. Or when I'm at work, DNA is pegged at full 5 bars as there is a tower right outside across the way from my building yet...

There is no new baseband. The difference between IMM76K and IMM76Q is the dumbed down search. The i515.09 or .10 is just the hardware version.. the baseband radio files are still FC04 and FC05.

This is good that so many people are having this issue .. perhaps it will get attention and fixed sooner rather than later. Keep the examples coming and call in regarding the problem so it gets reported.

I don't think its a SIM issue. Two of the people I know came from using the same SIM from the Gnex... not an issue until this phone. Like I said, this is a probing thread to see if others experience this so please keep the responses coming. I appreciate it!

I have heard from several people that their S3's are getting a "No SIM" error randomly which disallows them to do anything with the phone. One way to correct it is try a power cycle but if not, pulling the SIM and battery for a minute seem to help. Others have said that if they just let it go...
