In dire need of help. Recovery reboot loop due to negligence

Here's a flashable version of Xionia that you can install from CWM. It's a zip file, so you can "install zip from SD". Still might not work, but perhaps worth a shot? Sent from my VM670 using Android Central Forums

In dire need of help. Recovery reboot loop due to negligence

Download the app called Flash Image GUI, and use it to flash Xionia. If it still bootloops let us know, as there are a few things more that you could try. This is just the simplest. Sent from my VM670 using Android Central Forums

In dire need of help. Recovery reboot loop due to negligence

Don't know if you're familiar w/Windows command prompt, but you have to specify the path to the ADB folder before you can use it. You do this using the command "cd" (without quotes), which means change directory. On most computers it looks like this: cd C:\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools...

HELP- OV Formats on every reboot- need help

Sorry to hear nothing's worked so far. The OV is a strange little beast...what works for one doesn't always seem to work for another. Have you flashed the ZV9 radio update from VM? It will completely rewrite the boot, but you'll also lose root and custom recovery. The process to get them back is...

    Iphone for VM, confirmed?

Between the Evo V 4G and the iPhone, I think the Evo's a better choice all around. So, no, probably not. Sent from my VM670 using Android Central Forums

    Pictures taken with your Optimus!

Taken with stock CM7 camera... The mask is on the side of the building I work at. Funny story behind the waves on the sidewalk - our local transit agency pays people to pressure-wash the bus shelters. Well, this one guy always gets bored on the job...and does this ;)

HELP- OV Formats on every reboot- need help

Just fixed the EXACT same problem on my OV: Here's how I did it. You'll need an application called Flash Image GUI, the All-In-One Recovery from here and this flashable version of Xionia (thanks to @kwknott for tipping me off to this). Make sure both the AIO Recovery and the Xionia zip file are...

Desperately Need Either ROMTools or Internal Drivers for OV

FIXED IT!!! Case closed. I used the recovery from here to install the Xionia zip that kwknott gave me, which somehow tricked the thing into letting me use Xionia. From there, just had to "Fix Recovery Bootloop". Weird, I know. Anyway, thanks to those who chipped in! Gonna go help another guy on...

Desperately Need Either ROMTools or Internal Drivers for OV

No, I hadn't thought about the update. Might be a good idea, but I can't seem to find the update package out there anymore. I'm running Quattrimus at the moment, not the stock ROM.

Desperately Need Either ROMTools or Internal Drivers for OV

Just to clarify that I can't actually get INTO Xionia once I flash it.

Desperately Need Either ROMTools or Internal Drivers for OV

Thanks, but didn't work either. It just fastboots, wipes/formats/factory resets everything, and then boots into a clean install, like the version of Xionia I had previously. Do you perhaps know of another OV-compatible recovery that can fix bootloops? My modified CWM one can't.

Desperately Need Either ROMTools or Internal Drivers for OV

Hello all, Well, I was stupid enough to use the "LG-Style Factory Wipe" option on the older version of Xionia Recovery. Hence, my device always goes through recovery on powerup. With Xionia as my recovery it does a fastboot reformat/wipe that basically gives me a fresh install. With the modified...

HELP- OV Formats on every reboot- need help

I'm having the same issue, so I'm definitely going to watch this thread. The whole point is that you can't access Xionia. Nor user apps, settings , accounts, etc. The fastboot sequence takes over everything and literally leaves you with a fresh install each time you boot. Most aggravating.
