Yeah I installed the 10.5.37 440... beta And nothing happened. The weird thing is my version in apps under settings says the right version but when I go to the play store it still shows the old version

I've tried downloading the newest play services APK. I have a Nexus 6p running 7.1.2. When I download it it shows under apps in settings on the phone as the version I downloaded but in the play store it still shows the older version (10.2.98). I have even tried signing up for the beta on Google...
