Full network access for a flashlight app? No thanks. I've never tried to access the camera flash, but from what I've seen, the only permissions you need is android.permission.CAMERA. r

Also note that there is a small 300 ms delay with WebKit sites/apps as it's used to detect double touch - if a second touch is not detected within the 300 ms delay, it's interpreted as a single click. r

I personally use older phones for backup phones or to lend out to friends if they need a temp phone.... r

I leave the back cover off of a backup Galaxy S4 that lost its touch functionality and have been using it as a battery charger (I always have fully charged batteries available). That's a pretty expensive battery charger --- I recommend you repair the phone if possible! r

It's going to be tough for Windows Phone to take over (anytime soon) since it's fair to say they're pretty far behind in terms mobile phone innovation - it dials, has a touch screen... not going to be enough. They're going to have to continue to compete with apps on other platforms... Microsoft...

Re: Nexus 6 vs. iPhone 6+. Help me. Choose the OS you aren't currently using - it'll give you a fresh perspective on how you use your mobile phone on a daily basis and either appreciate the former or not. r
