I'm on at&t and I just did the May update this morning. I still get the notification on boot.

That's not 100% true. I had the notification on my first one, but not on my replacement. And I have 0 bad dismounts ejects according to the sd card app. And I still get the pop up on boot, which is the normal function.

I don't know if I fully buy that it's hardware. My first one had the issue, my second one didn't. I know about 10 other people that have this phone and none of them have ever had this issue. I think if it was hardware, a lot more people would be dealing with this. Just my take.

Hopefully you didn't have to pay [emoji33] That is 100% a warranty issue and you should not have to pay anything.

Are you on a us carrier or international version? I'm on At&t and they replaced mine under warranty and the new one has NO issues and the andtll. I've even changed out the SD card with different ones and none of them gave the message other than after a restart. Just trying to help.

AT&T sent me a replacement phone under warranty and fortunately I do not have this issue anymore I've had it since Monday same SD card same setup, same apps, same everything with no issues thank goodness

Exactly. I took my SD card out until I get my replacement. I don't have much on there anyways, by its the principle that it shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

The problem is that Samsung now knows its a problem based in some of their comments on their support page. Also it shouldn't be doing this to begin with, and I have visually seen it unmount and remount on its own based in the message. And when I go to my camera it has a message letting me know...

I exchanged my phone 3 times during my 14 day period 2 from the same at&t store and one from a different one, and they all do the same thing with my 64gb Evo+. Kind of a crapshoot and of a p.i.a to exchange phones to be honest. Bottom line Samsung needs to fix it or I'll sell my phone and go to...
