They really shouldn't make this so difficult! I tried all of the suggestions above and my phone still snoozes after one minute! UGH!

I have had the same problem. My alarm worked fine when I got it. I believe I began having trouble with it after I updated the system. I have not been able to figure out how to set the alarm when the ringer is off, and how to prevent it from shutting off after one minute when I leave the ringer...
