    Why don't I have service when my phone is on the lock screen?

    Re: no service on lock screen I had this issue when I flashed Lollipop to my Z3, turn on Airplane mode and turn it back off and your carrier should show again.

    Press your volume button then tap on the bell to set it to vibrate, or to silence click silent. Hope this helps
