Tried both and no change. I keep thinking it is related to some permissions, but have checked everything in Textra, Messages and Your Phone apps and they look good.
Yes. It does the same thing with the stock Messages app. Displays the phone number, but not the contact name. Worked great on the Galaxy Note 5 I just replaced.
Recently switched phones to a Galaxy Note 9 and lined to Microsoft Your Phone. Now my messages only show a phone number and not the contact name. Tried checking to be sure all permissions were granted and still cannot solve the problem.
