Did you ever figure out this issue? I have the exact same problem; I've tried doing the update 3 times and get this every time. I'm rooted, stock 4.2.1, and I've got everything backed up with Titanium backup, so I can just manually perform the update, but I was curious if you found anything on...

I also didn't have my phone plugged in initially and then I plugged it in about halfway through trying; no idea if that's a factor at all or not. Sorry if I got your hopes up at all; just trying to be helpful! :)

Just wanted to post what I did in case it will help others...my update is downloading right now. I was trying the "clear Android framework" trick (Settings --> Apps --> ....scroll the header to the right of "Running" so "All" shows & select "All" --> Google Services Framework --> Clear Data)...

Has anyone had any luck with this issue yet? I've been "living with it" the past few weeks, and I finally have some time tonight so I'm going to go the factory reset route and see if it helps. I'm going to try to keep from installing a ton of apps for a few days to see if the issue persists or...

Did you end up getting this issue resolved? I'm having very similar, if not the same, issues with my phone recently. I posted it on this thread, but that's probably not the best place for it. Anyway, I'm really suspecting an app to be the problem due to this issue suddenly cropping up...
