I appreciate your patience. Here is where I am. I used Revolutionary a long time ago to root. Their screens are what I am looking at. Currently I have both files copied to the sd card. I am looking at a screen with several options, beginning "with reboot system now" , then a couple of wipes...

Should I wipe before I reboot into recover? Can I just copy the files over and then Reboot Recovery from the menu, or do I need to turn the phone off and reboot with power and vol sequence? I really do appreciate the help. The spouse is a little upset with all of this.... Ron

An OTA is trying to update the phone last night, but fails. This is the error: "failed to verify whole-file system" and "signature verification failed". Should I replace Revolt. zip file with the old zip file? The phone is a soft brick right now. Thanks for any lhelp, Ron

2nd feedback: Do I take PG0IMG.zip file off the sd card and replace it with the su-2.3.6.3-efgh....zip file?

Tks for getting back to me. Not sure what cwm is unless its the su-2.3.6.3.efgh.... file that I copied to the sd card. I have to take the battery out every time I want to do a reboot. Whenever I used Revolt. or just reboot, and I would get to the bootlauncher(?) screen, I was not able to move...
