I am loving my 6P. After seeing the specs and images, I am not too impressed by Marlin and I don't plan on switching over. Especially with the latest rumors that it won't have stock Android. If I were you, I would stick with the 6P.

+1. I uninstalled the Facebook app a while ago and switched to Swipe. It has been great so far. I might checkout Metal just to compare the two apps.

Re: I've had it. This is my first Nexus phone and I am really enjoying having complete control over the phone. Not having to wait for carrier updates and no bloat is awesome. My last few phones were from Verizon which is notorious for locking down their phones and loading them with bloat.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to this out. I like that it uses the standard Android doze functions just triggers it sooner.

The button locations are not a deal breaker for me, but I would prefer to have the volume rocker on the opposite side of the power button

You best chance at getting fast charging for the 6P is a pack with USB-C. There are a few on Amazon, but most of them are around 20000 mAh. I found this one...

I have used it for a quick call with my wife and it seems to work pretty well. Now if I just get my family and friends to install it so I can try it out with other people. I am hoping Google eventually integrates this into the Phone or Messenger apps

I am currently using the Crispy icon pack with a couple of icons from the Sunrise and Moonrise packs. I never used icon packs till a couple of months ago, but now I am really enjoying them.

It isn't just you. This phone has a very weak vibrate compared to other phones. I tried looking it up once and I found a couple of Reddit posts discussing the weak vibration. If your phone is rooted, with the ElementalX kernel and the EX Kernel Manager app, you can adjust the vibration...

I have noticed that if I have VoLTE on and a slow internet connection, I definitely have same issues with call quality. There have been times when the person I am talking to can hear me, but I can't hear them.

I have been wanting a Nexus device for a long time. I want to try out the fingerprint scanner, USB type C, and of course Marshmallow since my current phone will never get the upgrade.
