Yes, confirmed, I played with one tonight at Best Buy, they had one on display. I wasn't impressed enough to pick one up, I'll stick with my GTab2 for now. Let me know if there's anything you want to know. I thought the screen was the weak point, btw.

You can also leave the animation file in place and deal directly with the binary that plays the animation, I think it's in /system/bin and called playlogo or playlogo1. I renamed the binary to something else which had the same effect.
