Nope, found out the hard way, factory reset is NOT sufficient. Buyer got hit with "factory reset protection," which I did not know was a thing, and returned it to me. I had to refund and am now out shipping both ways. So, I guess I need to know is there a way to reset my Pixel C and sell it...

Just got the "wrong pin" bug on my Pixel C. So I'm just gonna get rid of it. I know I need to do a factory reset, but do I also need to do the "secure" or "erase" functions from Android Device Manager (https://www.google.com/android/find?u=0)? Or will just the factory reset be enough? Thanks!

I still use an aging Nexus 6, with Android 7.0. Google won't be updating it to Android 8. Thinking about installing LineageOS to make it more current. But will the phone still work with Project Fi once it has a not-fully-Google OS on it? Any "gotcha's" I should look out for if I try it? Thanks!

My Pixel C tablet just got Android 8.0. I don't suppose our Nexus 6 phones are going to get updated, are they? Mine just got Android 7 in March.

My nVidia Shield TV streaming box is now on Nougat, but my Nexus 6? Still on Marshmallow.

Marshmallow security updates for January now installing. Looks like Nougat is still a long ways off.

Nexus 6 gets its long-awaited Android 7.1.1 update | Android Central Meanwhile I'm still waiting for 7.0.

Not only does my N6 still not have Nougat, it just received 11/2016 "Security Updates" for Marshmallow. So I'm thinking the Nougat upgrade is NOT exactly imminent.

I never opted into the Beta in the first place, still don't have 7.0 (though my LTE Nexus 9 tablet got it last week). So opting out of the Beta isn't the problem. I did get an October security patch for Android 6, but no Android 7.

Surprise after all this time, after installing the Nougat update, suddenly CBSN works fine on this tablet. Probably won't be able to test the Airtime Player until the next time I fly Southwest Airlines, likely not til February.
