I'm using Textra as my default messaging app and Moto Assist reads/sends from it without issues for me. I've only used it a few times though.

I use Textra for my sms and mms needs. It works pretty well for group messages with iPhone users. Just make sure to check off group messaging when setting up. Hope this helps!

Re: Battery Life Sucks Bad... It's all subjective and varies on a bunch of different things. Just cause these phones are built the same, doesn't mean every piece of it will function the same for everyone. We choose our devices based on the features and specs, and if something doesn't fly well...

Does the phone arrive fully charged? If not, what's the best way to condition the battery, if there's such a thing? Unbox, let charge, then use vs. unbox, use til it's drained, then charge?
