I bought this S4 from a guy on craiglist yesterday and noticed a strange issue with "demo" screen popping up and not going away and not being able to uninstall. I installed Kies today and it is telling me my device current firmware version is NOT supported and I can't update the firmware...

Looks like I may have a demo phone, the firmware has issues and won't work on KIES to give me update. I would root, but I am not sure how just a root and freezing this app will fix everything.

Just added them to the top.. I feel like I did get a demo, but heck I would have thought it wouldn't work as a demo, or other issues trying to activate it. Everything works on the phone. Might just have to root it and delete it permanently.

I found a disable.button in All apps section and it turns it off for a little longer but still comes back on. Also the Verizon demo mode I try to uninstall and it comes right back 30 seconds later. I need to post a screen shot?

I picked up a used S4 today and activated with Verizon at the store and everything is fine, but this damn demo screen will not stop. I tried to uninstall it, and find a "KILL" switch but I can't see anything.. any advice, I searched and looked up on Google and found nothing so far
