does the OEM HTC 2750 MaH extended battery require a new battery door because of the size?

im trying to figure out which aftermarket battery i want to buy for my TB. i want to get the 3200mah but i was wondering if its alot more bulky than the 2750mah? and if theyre the same, is it worth getting considering the size change to the phone??

Im thinking of buying the thunderbolt but ive been hearing alot of talk about how bad the battery is. how bad is bad? how many hours does it last when using internet and texting moderately. and if anyone has upgraded to the aftermarket battery does it make the phone alot more bulky?
