This is now also working for any flat screen device that is running a n4e/s6e/s6e+/s7e ROM... Even though users of those devices can't do the swipe gesture to launch feeds, this app enables them. :)

Your screen should be off, not on lockscreen. Do the swipe gesture. A clock/weather feed should appear. Swipe towards or away from the center of the screen to scroll thru the different feeds that you enabled in settings.

Longpress on that network and click disconnect. Do it again and click Forget Network. Now connect to your own wifi.

It doesn't exist in the marshmallow update. Enjoy the new edge panels though!

Re: S6 no connectivity keeps popping up and phone scanning for wifi contiuously Longpress the wifi icon. Click on your router. Enter the password. If that doesn't work, try rebooting your phone. If that doesn't work either, power cycle your router.

Re: what exactly happens when apps update Yes, when an app updates, you're downloading an entire new version of the full .apk file and it replaces the existing one already installed on your phone.
