It might work. If someone have an old QC2.0 charger or QC3.0 charger, they could try plugging it in and see if quick charge will enable... But from digitaltrends: "The Honor 8 sports 9V/2A quick charging, which is similar to Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 2.0 tech."

I probably prefer the blue one, as it's more unique and less common compared to white and black.

Best spec would most likely be OnePlus 3 for the price range. Best all-arounder in terms of specs and features, such as front facing speaker, good screen, etc. would be the Axon 7. Best camera, probably the Honor 8. Here's a good video from Pocketnow about $400 budget phones

Just download a new launcher, like Google Now or Nova or something else you might like.

Not too bad, but have to remember that it launched in China about 2 months ago and they are also counting those numbers into the worldwide figures.

The Honor 8 is a good phone and a quite affordable one, but definitely won't outsell the iPhone 7/7 Plus or the Galaxy Note 7.

Re: B&H is showing the h8 64 gig version up for pre-order. Guess they're just listing it early. Blue should be available by end of October once Best Buy exclusivity is done with.

Except for the average consumers, they still go to carrier stores or retailers like Costco, Best Buy, Target, etc. to buy their phones for their carrier and finance it that way... US market is still pretty different from others and most consumers tend to just go to the carrier store and get the...

I haven't... Most people I know uses Samsung and iPhones.

^Honor store has the $50 coupon, that deducts the price to $349.99... But not everyone wants to buy from them as some stores offer bonus gifts or no tax for some states.

They probably didn't make much black or any at all... Even the honor store in the US only sell the white option and some sites lets you pre-order without any ETA date for the black variant.

Guaranteed updates... but it can take them a long time to push out the next version of Android, as with most manufacturers... It takes anywhere from 1 month to a year to update to the next version of Android.
