If you backed it to hot there isn't much change you can get it to life again. I think it is lost.

With my LG G3 it started with the same hot spot. After reflowing it was gone. If you reflow please mind your temperature don't go over 200-210 degC or you will kill your motherboard.

Have you flashed a firmware on the telephone in the past?
