I just switched from the Pre to the N1 and won't be turning back, even though the Pre just released their SDK addon allowing for some better apps. The transition was pretty painless though since both android and the pre are cloud based with contacts, calander and the like are stored in gmail...

Yea I have that same issue, I think it is totally dependant on the aspect ratio of the video, the Pre would zoom a move to make it full screen. I'll be checking out some of the other video players in the next few days and I'll let you know what I find. I work over behind St. Francis's hospital...

Ok, I am officially a moron. The Gallery app opens video files, and it looks like it scans the entire SD card for media (pics or video it looks like, although I haven't put any mp3's on to test for that). Thanks for the help. And I think this means I might officially be too old to use this...

There is no folder called video... I put a sample video in a folder called media instead, however I still have no idea how to open it on the phone.
