Well can now confirm that it's not Wear OS compatible, and have even more issues when I try to use the watch with my work iphone. From what you're saying though if I have the Wear OS app and a watch that is compatible with the app, that should solve my issues though?

I thought the Wear OS app was for specific watches that are partnered with Android or Google, didn't even think to try it to see if it would work. Will do that this evening for sure and let you know the outcome.

What ones do you have on then in order to control the music but not the audio? Of course I forgot my watch at home so I'll have to try it later tonight.

For the smart watch I have Call Audio, Media Audio, Contact Access. Only one I have turned on is Media Audio. Without that one on, it's not able to find the media player. For the GPS I have the same 3, plus Message Access. Media and Messages are turned on and it's the same results.

Galaxy S5 rooted with KitKat 4.4.4 . My phone decided to barely work when on WiFi at home. My laptop and my wife's iphone are getting about 25 mbps download and 4mbps upload speeds, while my phone is only getting 0.5 mbps download. Off wifi and just on 4G it gets about 50mbps download speeds...

OTA updates are disabled and I'm definitely still running KitKat. This started only a few weeks ago, guessing after facebook did an update. It's only facebook that's doing it to me, no other apps send me heads up notifications

That works only for Lollipop. Have yet to find a way to disable it for KitKat. Facebook is the only app that does this, none of the other apps do.
